Root Canal

Caries is a technical term used to describe a cavity within a tooth. While root canal treatment is a procedure to repair a tooth that was badly damaged by infected decay. During root canal treatment, our dentist will remove the nerve and pulp of the infected tooth before proceeding with cleaning and sealing of the tooth decay.

The bacteria and other decayed debris may cause infection and other problems such as swelling that could spread to other areas i.e. face / neck / head.

Patients have an option to choose to be treated under a general dental practitioner or endodontist (root canal specialist)
